A symposium on ‘Awareness for snakebite management: Bangladesh persoective’

A symposium on ‘Awareness for snakebite management: Bangladesh persoective’ was held at Filaria and General Hopital, Savar yesterday organised by Institute of Allergy and Clinical Immunology of Bangladesh in a collaboration with Deep Ecology And Snake Rescue Foundation as well as Humanity Beyond Barriers. Resources and participants from different educational institutes agreed to work together for preventing deaths due to snakebite.

It is noted that now the NCDC of DGHS has enabled available supply of anti-venom in all upazila health complex. So not traditional healers, rush to hospital if anyone is bitten by snakes. And also for a healthy-sustainable future, snake conservaton impacts very high.
